Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Balancd website (balancd.ai) or join our waitlist. The website is run by Property Avenue Pty Ltd (ABN 11 638 665 424), trading as Balancd (“Balancd”, “we”, “us”).
By using the website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
2. Balancd isn't open yet
Balancd is still being built. The website describes the service we're developing, and its features, timing and availability may change before launch.
Joining the waitlist is free. It doesn't commit you to buy anything, and it doesn't guarantee access by a particular date or at a particular price.
Before you can use the Balancd service, you'll need to accept a separate customer agreement. It will set out the fees, how billing and cancellation work, and what happens to your records if you leave. We'll show it to you before you're charged anything.
3. Joining the waitlist
- Give accurate details, and only sign up for a business you're allowed to act for.
- We'll email you when it's your turn, and before then only if something important changes, such as the price.
- You can leave at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
- We may change or close the waitlist at any time.
4. Using the website
You must use the website lawfully. You must not:
- try to get unauthorised access to the website or the systems behind it
- interfere with how the website works, or upload anything harmful such as malware
- copy or collect content from the website in bulk, including by automated means
- sign up with someone else's details without their permission.
5. Not tax or financial advice
Balancd is software, not a registered tax agent or BAS agent. It works out figures from the records you give it and shows how it got each one. It never lodges anything for you and does not give tax or financial advice.
You are responsible for checking your figures and for what you lodge. For advice about your own situation, talk to a registered tax agent or BAS agent.
6. Intellectual property
The website's content and design, and the Balancd name and logo, belong to us or our licensors. You can view the website and share links to it. Don't copy, change or reuse its content without our written permission, except as the law allows.
Other names on the website, such as WhatsApp, Gmail, Outlook and Xero, belong to their owners. Showing them doesn't mean those companies endorse Balancd, or that every connection is available yet.
7. Examples
The people, businesses, receipts and figures shown on the website are examples of how Balancd works. They aren't real customers, and the figures aren't anyone's real books.
8. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that can't be excluded.
9. Liability
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
Subject to section 8, and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or your reliance on its content, except loss caused by our own negligence or our breach of these terms.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including the details you give us when you join the waitlist.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and post the new version on this page. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. The version on this page when you use the website applies.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of New South Wales.
